You’ll Always Find Their Proteins On Sale

Lidl’s protein department is priced to match the other mainstream supermarkets’ sale prices. But their prices are affordable every day. Furthermore, their meats are periodically discounted even more when there’s a promotion happening.

For instance, their chicken breast, which is every day priced at $1.99, can sometimes be as low as $1.25 a pound, which seems unheard of.

You can also grab some organic grass-fed, 8oz individually wrapped sirloin steaks for as little as $3 and lean ground turkey for under $2 a pound. The deals spread to their seafood, as well.

What’s discounted from their vast selection of frozen filleted fish rotates weekly, and it’s worth portioning them and filling the freezer when your favorites go on sale.

The large ocean scallops are always a fan favorite, and so is the fresh salmon they bring from Norway and Chile. Both go as low as wholesale restaurant prices for superior quality.

Be sure to share your thoughts with us in the comments if you’ve shopped or plan on visiting Lidl. And if you’re looking for savings, we’ve got many more great articles for you. We highly recommend you check out: 7 Products to Avoid Buying at Warehouse Clubs
