Snack subscriptions

Subscription snack boxes could be the next thing on the market, but Walmart’s Goodies monthly snack subscription definitely went a little bit too far. It was launched in late 2012, and that’s when Goodies shipped a box full of eight sample-sized snacks a month for only $7.

However, after a year of beta testing, Walmart soon came to the conclusion that the project didn’t go as well as it thought. Naturally, Walmart is one of the many stores that have grocery pickup and delivery.

“Someday a woman will be president” famous T-shirts

In 1995, Walmart decided on a major flip-flop with one of its items, which was a shirt that featured Dennis the Menace character Margaret and the phrase: “someday a woman will be president!”. At first, Walmart decided to stock it, but it soon came to the conclusion that the T-shirts need to be pulled from the shelves, as it soon realized that the “message went against their own philosophy of family values” as the Washington Post showed.

After a whole nationwide uproar, Walmart came back to its original decision to restock the shirts, ordering no less than 30,000 more to place in each of its stores. Nowadays, you can’t find that shirt at Walmart, but you can find shirts for actual female presidential contenders, such as Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, but also Amy Klobuchar.

Aside from these items that you won’t find anymore, there are also some things that you SHOULDN’T buy from Walmart, some of which are Great Value brand food, luxury perfumes, organic foods, and many other things. It’s just a ‘term’ for fancy dinner plates. The term “china” comes from its country of origin, and the word “porcelain” comes from the Latin word “porcella,” meaning seashell. It implies a product which is smooth, white, and lustrous. The term “porcelain” is preferred in Europe while “china” is favored in the United States.

Ironically, Noritake ‘china’ is made in Japan.

If you think you are somehow avoiding China as the manufacturing source of any product, then you must have eliminated all electronic devices. While the device you purchase may itself not be assembled in China, it is nearly impossible for the at least some, and often times most of the components to not be of Chinese origin.

That woman running for president was responsible for keeping our border secure for the last 3.5 years. Five million illegals were able to penetrate that border. “That woman” still claimed it was secure. Is this woman incompetent or was she knowingly lying to the American people? Your answer will determine your level of education from the Liberal school union.

It’s not about being a woman. A woman president would be great. The point is the woman’s qualifications, her policies, her good record, her love of country. We should never simply because of gender or skin color. We’re all Americans. But just as with any job the person who gets picked for the job must have the ability and qualifications in order to do the job properly.

She doesn’t have the integrity, intelligence or the slightest idea about what being the leader of the free world means & has only tried to destroy & divide what America & the people who represent it & actually LOVE our country. When I purchased a pair of pants marked “petite” or “short”, I didn’t have 8-12 inches of fabric leg dragging on the floor when I pulled them up. Please bring this product line back, Walmart!

If there is something they have on the shelves that you do not want just walk on by. The customers deserve to be treated with respect . Our store here doesnot take csrevof the customers they tell us they are not allowed to sny longer. Sam is rolling in his grave I am sure. In stead of taking things that sell off the shelf why not leave them . I never buy a Brand X for a yard or home appliance. You get what you pay for.

When I wanted a small Boom Box-type radio/CD player they had two at Walmart: OHM or Sony. The OHM was half the price of Sony so I bought it. A month after I used it, the radio, both FM and FM, stopped working. Garbage brand. Now Walmart didn’t even carry any brand of these. I can find plenty of them at Bi Mart.

because the Bible says a woman is never to be in authority over a man. The man is to be the head of the home/family also. Having a woman in charge is known to break down the family unit. When a woman usurps authority, the man will leave, thus breaking down the family unit. Men think rationally while women think emotionally. Furthermore, other country will not respect a woman president those endangering the family.

It has long been a trend with Walmart since Sam Died that any off brand that outsells a Name brand is discontinued in favor of the higher priced name brand. It is how they operate in order to sell the name brand. They also create their own Shortages of certain items like Cat Food, Walmart’s brand Special Kitty will be out for weeks until the expensive brands are nearly sold out.

Great Value is always available all year round and it is doing well, and Walmart supports this brand, a lot as it is profitable, at least in my area.
The cat food is an issue that is not Walmart’s fault, and their brand is always available in my store.

I refuse to buy name brands, if I can’t get the GREAT Value brand, I will not buy it. I can’t afford to pay more for name brands when I save (usually .50 to $ 1.50) on GREAT Value brands!! I absolutely refuse to pay that much more for the same item, same size or quanitity, that taste as good or better. They change the products around every week or two and I don’t want to spend an hour or two trying to find what I need. I have been so aggravated with trying to find something, I was tempted to push my cart to the side and leave. Their definitely not doing what Mr. Sam did!

You are SOOO right. And they will force “well respected” manufacturers to give them a lower wholesale price so they can guarantee they are the lowest priced retailer. If the manufacturer can’t cut his wholesale price specially for them, then they push for a “slightly cheaper constructed version” or to “leave a few features that won’t be immediately noticed” out of the Walmart model. A couple decades back they tried this go with the STIHL company. Stihl refused to alter any models, as they considered that to be less than there quality standards. Told Walmart if they wanted to sell cheaper than anyone else they would simply have to operate on a thinner margin. When Stihl’s family owners talked about this and additional “hardball” tactics in the press, Walmart sent about a dozen lawyers with copies of bout a dozen ways they would be sued. Stihl pointed out that all conversations with Walmart were recorded, and most were also videoed. The suits quickly evaporated before news of Walmart’s further “bad faith” market tactics could leak out. And contrary to what the Walmart rep’s had said (if you don’t sell through us we’ll put your out of business) Stihl appears to be one of the few American manufacturers still chugging along just fine.

Grocery prices at Walmart are ‘decent’ at best. If you have access to supermarkets that have a membership program, especially one with online coupons (like Kroger), you’ll do better and have access to better quality products in many cases. I also like shopping at (both) Aldi and Lidl, and if you have either of them nearby, suggest you check those out. Their store brands are as good as or better than Walmart’s. HOWEVER, not all of WM’s Great Value products are bad, and the good ones (you’ll have to decide for yourself) will save you money.

I have an order supposedly coming from Canada and i only received part of it. I had to purchase some crazy door item in order to receive my medicated Protein Drink. Accept the Protein Drink never showed up. Not everyone uses the Protein drinks for bulking up. Some of us use it for daily intake as ordered by doctors. But it is not covered by insurance. Plus a lot of stores don’t understand when you have to do this daily you don’t want just chocolate and cookie flavored Shakes. Not everyone can switch to other brands because you body doesn’t tolerate all the variety of companies that make protein shakes and some don’t make 30 grams of Protein drinks. It’s like being a diabetic if you need it for medication we need to have access to it whether covered by insurance or not.

Walmart is also employing illegal aliens who the Dems had gotten green cards for them to work in the stores. The last few years they haven’t had vita herring in cream sauce. I have to go to publix to get it. But they do have the herring in wine sauce.

I was very disappointed to find Walmart no longer carries their brand of Healthy Cream of Mushroom soup. I can’t find the lightly salted potato chips in their brand any more since last Fall. Being somewhat health conscious, I am shopping there less.

Article seems familiar, I’m glad they’re not going to carry the first 4 things, anymore, But I thought, they had already stopped carrying them,

I went to Walmart 4 months ago to get a laptop and they didn’t have what I was told, and the one they did have and try to get me to buy was almost twice as much as the one I was told they had. I didn’t get anything ,I went to Target and got the one that Walmart said they had and didn’t . I got it for less. Saved $80.

Walmart stories are a must for lots of low income folks, They can sell cheaper because of Quantity, if you don’t like buying stuff made in China, then don’t, they have lots of other stuff for sale that’s not made in China. I Even find stuff in Mom and Pop stores made in China

I purchased the hearing aids advertised through Walmart. They did not fit. I tried every way and nothing I did helped so I wrote to them. I’ve called them. My husband’s emailed them. He’s called them. We ask for a refund like they said they would give us and now it’s been weeks and we still have not gotten any word from them. I am still waiting for my refund had they said had we bought them through Amazon? The company could’ve helped us but because we bought them through Walmart they can’t help us. Don’t buy these hearing aids.

Time for WalMart to quit selling merchandise tied into cable TV programmes. Our nearby store can’t move any Pioneer Woman or Joana Gaines Home Edit items until they get down to $1 on the clearance aisles. Nobody watches cable anymore and no one cares who these folks are so the items just take space on the shelves at their exorbitant pricing while more sensible products could be featured. Same goes with some of the kiddie crap. Exceptions could be made on items related to free over the air broadcast shows like Drew Barrymore or streaming services that have made their content available for free with online platforms like the BBC as these methods are seeing increase audiences.

Not only do they not give discounts to Seniors and they charge you for groceries that were cancelled and claim that they don’t have record of the amount taken, in my case, it was over $200.00 Dollars of my EBT Cash app and will not refund it. Almost almost All I have for the months groceries. I’m 82 years old and disabled. They didn’t care if I had proof, their records did not show the transaction?? Bravo Walmart. It’s great to know that some business will listen to their conscience instead of their cash register.
