5. Not waiting to negotiate

We know that everyone thinks that the price they list when selling a home is more than fair, but the buyers might not think the same. You will be surprised by the number of people who will tell you that they think the home is amazing and that they would buy it only if you lowered the price by $3000.

This is quite a common experience, and it also lets you make some home-selling mistakes. One of them is the unwillingness to negotiate. Hear us out: the key to selling a home at the best price is negotiation. Maybe you can convince the buyer, and you will find a common ground that works for both of you.

Never say no to negotiation. Doing this will only cost you time and money. Keep your eyes open and listen to what the buyer is saying to you. Maybe the price was too high, to begin with. So, why not lower it and finally sell that home?
