The Best Amazon Prime Perks You Should Be Using in 2026

2. Entertainment: More Than Just “The Boys”

You probably know about Prime Video, but the entertainment ecosystem has expanded. If you are paying for Spotify or a separate cloud gaming service, you might be double-paying.

Prime Gaming & Amazon Luna

This is the most slept-on benefit for anyone who plays video games. Every month, Prime Gaming gives you a batch of PC games for free—and once you claim them, they are yours to keep forever, even if you cancel Prime later.

Additionally, Prime members get a free “standard” subscription to Amazon Luna, their cloud gaming platform. In 2026, this includes a rotating library of high-quality titles (recent rotations have included hits like Control and LEGO games) that you can stream to your TV, phone, or tablet without buying a console.

Music Prime

Included with your membership is access to 100 million songs ad-free in shuffle mode. Expert Note: This is not “Amazon Music Unlimited,” which lets you play any specific song on demand. However, for background listening, gym playlists, or “Alexa, play some jazz,” the included tier is robust enough that many casual listeners can cancel their $11/month Spotify or Apple Music subscriptions.

Thank you for this information. I did not know half of it regarding my subscription. I will contact Amazon to change the monthly fee to an annual one to save the $40.00.

I only use Amazon Prime for ordering things, nothing else.

You need to offer a discount for seniors over 70 and on fixed income. I will be 79 this year and my income only goes so far. If it keeps going I may have to cancel.
