11. Minnesota – $750 Payments for Frontline Workers

…If you were a frontline worker in 2020, your efforts would be rewarded with a $750 bonus!

In early May, Governor Tim Walz approved a law that will provide certain frontline employees a one-time payment of $750.

All employees who were not permitted to work remotely and who worked at least 120 hours in Minnesota between March 15th, 2020, and June 30th, 2021, can successfully qualify for this payment.

People who worked directly with COVID-19 patients must have earned less than $175,000 per year between December 2019 and January 2022 in order to be eligible for this.

On the other hand, people whose primary responsibility is not patient care must have earned less than $85,000 per year so they can receive this stimulus check. In conformity with officials, applications for the payment are no longer accepted and they are now processing appeals.

Governor Walz even said that the state of Minnesota has a $7 billion budget surplus and they can use it to give each citizen a tax refund check of $1,000. However, if they really want to do something like this, they will need the state legislature’s involvement.

Why is the date of this article from 2022 and 2023
So does that mean there are no stimulus checks coming ? Because it is March of 2026 right now and I see nothing that shows it’s for the current year what is happening here why are we so confused with this?
