5. Florida – $450 Payments

The Department of Children and Families in Florida created a program called Hope Florida—A Pathway to Prosperity, which helped several families with children receive a one-time payment of $450 per kid.

There are a lot of people who can qualify for this stimulus check, including foster parents, familial and non-relative caretakers of children, participants in the state Guardian Support Program, and families receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash assistance. The money comes thanks to the pandemic relief funding designated for TANF recipients.

You don’t have to do anything in particular to qualify for this $450 payment. If you are suitable, you should have received a mailed check. Delivery was expected on or before July 25th, when the state’s back-to-school tax break kicked off.
