3. Furniture and light fittings

Furniture has always been one of the most expensive antiques, and it will remain so for a long time. Art Deco is becoming popular again in the field of home design, and if it happens that you have an old table or any other piece of furniture that can still be seen as something timeless, you better don’t throw it out.

The same goes for any light fitting that dates back to the 20s or 30s. Also, the Ikea furniture that was made in the 70s is now selling for incredible prices; sometimes you can sell it for seven times the price you paid in the first place.

Maybe it is hard for you to believe that your old furniture or those dusty light fittings can be some of the most expensive antiques that many of us have in our homes, but this is the reality. See what you can save and sell it for some quick cash.

I have so many of the things that are listed here, I’ll be checking them out. Records, lights, books, silverware, clothes and more clothes. People just don’t know how they collect lots of collectible items or that is they just don’t realize what they have……

I often see lists of valuable antiques some of which are in my family but never see where to sell them or a list of who will buy them or websites to check. We know they are valuable but don’t know what to do with them. Can you help?

I have a number of old items that I’m going to sell. How do I list them with you?

Yeah, but I still use mine. My “non-stick” can’t touch my cast iron. Well seasoned, NOTHING sticks to it… I just have to protect it from roommate who insists on washing with soap

    nice too show items
    BUT
we need to know where to sell, who will buy
and don’t say ebay, marketplace, etc
and record stores don’t want this and don’t want that and will NOT pay you for they want it free,
so we need to know people who really want to buy and who collect and not just jerk you around
