5. Paintings and drawings

If you have paintings and drawings in your home, please don’t throw them away; see if you have any chance of selling them. As you know, paintings have always been luxury items, which makes them some of the most expensive antiques that you can put on the market. For example, many cheap prints of paintings and drawings that were made in the 1970s became popular, and you can see them in the homes of many Americans. A print like that can sell for a few hundred bucks.

You might have some works of art by lesser-known artists in your home right now. And some of these works might have become popular today. Check to see if you can auction them or simply sell them. In this way, you can make a good sum of money. If you are lucky and you have a collectible painting or a rare one, there is a chance that you will make a fortune.

I have so many of the things that are listed here, I’ll be checking them out. Records, lights, books, silverware, clothes and more clothes. People just don’t know how they collect lots of collectible items or that is they just don’t realize what they have……

I often see lists of valuable antiques some of which are in my family but never see where to sell them or a list of who will buy them or websites to check. We know they are valuable but don’t know what to do with them. Can you help?

Yeah, but I still use mine. My “non-stick” can’t touch my cast iron. Well seasoned, NOTHING sticks to it… I just have to protect it from roommate who insists on washing with soap

    nice too show items
    BUT
we need to know where to sell, who will buy
and don’t say ebay, marketplace, etc
and record stores don’t want this and don’t want that and will NOT pay you for they want it free,
so we need to know people who really want to buy and who collect and not just jerk you around
