7. Vinyl records

Vinyl records are one of the most expensive antiques, and there is a high chance that you have some in your house. Many people threw away their records once the new technology with its CDs entered their lives and became the standard of music listening.

But we have to tell you that Vinyl records are making a big comeback and are more popular than ever. Check an online list and see if you can find your vinyl there. Also, the market is changing constantly, and the records that used to be popular a few months ago might not be that popular right now.

Remember that it’s not just the records that are expensive; even your family record player could help you get some cash. People need one in order to play their newly bought records, right?

Many people collect old records and go to Salvation Army store or the library’s annual book sale. When you donate your records you can deduct amount on your income tax if you use govt approved charity. The Salvation Army and Goodwill can tell you how much to deduct for each record.
