7. Georgia – $250 Bonus Payments

Georgia citizens who filed tax returns in both 2020 and 2021 were eligible to receive rebate payments depending on their filing status due to the state’s unprecedented budget surplus. Here are more details about this:

  • If you file as single, you can get up to $250;
  • The head of the family can get a maximum of $375;
  • Married people who file jointly can receive up to $500.

Rebate amounts might have been reduced if you owed back taxes or other obligations to the state, such as child support. Another factor that can make your bonus payment lower is the fact that you lived in the state of Georgia for a couple of months only.

If you submitted your 2021 taxes by April 18th, you should have gotten your refund in August. If you have any questions about this topic, you can contact the Georgia Department of Revenue.

    I only received one stimulus Check when that started last year or before. My husband never recieved any. we are living only on our social security check each month, and out of that they take for Medicare, and when landing in the hospital, they are wanting more money because our insurance didn’t pay the entire bill or medicare either.
