9. Costco Anywhere Visa® by Citi — Best for Costco members & gas shoppers

Why it’s great: For Costco shoppers, this card is uniquely valuable: 5% back on gas at Costco and 4% on other eligible gas/EV charging (combined $7,000/year cap), 3% on restaurants and travel, 2% on Costco purchases, and 1% everywhere else. The card requires a Costco membership but rewards frequent warehouse shoppers and drivers.

Who should get it: Costco members who buy gas and travel, and who also want to consolidate their warehouse and everyday spending.

Tip: Because the card is through Citi, check acceptance for international travel—it’s a Visa, so it’s broadly accepted, but always carry a backup for non-Visa countries.
