You might be surprised to find out that becoming a freelance writer is one of the best ways to earn an extra $1K a month. I should know; I am one! In some cases, the work will likely be low-paying at first, but the more you write, the faster you move into higher-paying work.

Well, if you think about it, it’s the same thing in any other industry, right? You have to build experience in order to get paid more. Freelance writers mainly earn money by writing articles, blog posts, and even website pages.

If you’re wondering what you’d have to write about, it also depends on what your contractor wants; it can be either in the field of digital marketing, finance, or even wellness.

Virtual Assistant

If you pride yourself on being an organized individual, then you could put your skills to use and become a virtual assistant. The tasks that are available for this kind of job usually range from email management to customer service support.

There are many different tasks that customers might need a virtual assistant for. Something that I like about this job is that you can work part-time or full-time, depending on your priorities and availability.

You might need to have a proper setup for this type of work, with a desk (if you’re looking for a really good one with adjustable height, you need to look into this one), a computer, and a dedicated workspace. This way, you will be able to work without distraction.
