1. Ceramics and silverware
If you have silverware somewhere in your home, you should find it and check if it is hallmarked. This was a usual practice, and if you see any marks on your silverware, there is a high chance that it is valuable and you can sell it.
Even if silverware items are not the most popular choice right now, you might still be lucky and find someone who wants to buy them. If you can’t find anyone to sell your silver to, you can still sell the silver for its value in weight, and this can give you some extra bucks.
Ceramics are some of the most expensive antiques that you might have in your home. And you can sell them for a nice price. First of all, you need to do a little bit of research and see if you can find any stamps on them. In this way, you can identify who the manufacturer is and find out their value.

You missed cast iron skillets that can be worth thousands.
Yes I totally agree.
I have so many of the things that are listed here, I’ll be checking them out. Records, lights, books, silverware, clothes and more clothes. People just don’t know how they collect lots of collectible items or that is they just don’t realize what they have……
I often see lists of valuable antiques some of which are in my family but never see where to sell them or a list of who will buy them or websites to check. We know they are valuable but don’t know what to do with them. Can you help?
I have boxes of records that I would like to sale, but don’t know how to go about selling them. Who should I contact? It would cost so much to ship them. If at all possible, I would like to have someone to come and look at them. How would I list them with you?
I have a number of old items that I’m going to sell. How do I list them with you?
Yeah, but I still use mine. My “non-stick” can’t touch my cast iron. Well seasoned, NOTHING sticks to it… I just have to protect it from roommate who insists on washing with soap
nice too show items
BUT
we need to know where to sell, who will buy
and don’t say ebay, marketplace, etc
and record stores don’t want this and don’t want that and will NOT pay you for they want it free,
so we need to know people who really want to buy and who collect and not just jerk you around
I’ve yet to see it work on either of my Yorkies
