2. Alaska – $3,200 Payments

The majority of Alaskans get a check every year through one of the state’s best programs, called the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD). What’s great for them (and for you as well, if you live in the state of Alaska) is that the energy assistance payout will be $650 higher this year.

The PFD increased dramatically, from $1,114 in 2021 to $3,284 in 2022 for each qualified beneficiary. The dividend is funded by the state’s investment of a portion of its oil and mineral earnings, which means that the money growth is in part a result of growing oil prices.

If you chose to receive your PFD and energy relief payment by direct deposit, you should have received both payments on the same day: September 20th, to be exact. Alaska began sending out paper checks the week of October 6th to people who had solicited them.

I only received one stimulus Check when that started last year or before. My husband never recieved any. we are living only on our social security check each month, and out of that they take for Medicare, and when landing in the hospital, they are wanting more money because our insurance didn’t pay the entire bill or medicare either.
