8. New York State Hunting & Fishing Licenses

Hunting and fishing are two of the most common activities people pick up in their golden years. If you recently decided to turn one of these two into a hobby, you probably know that you need a license to practice it.

If you’re a NY senior citizen of at least 70 years, you can get a discounted price of $5 for fishing, hunting, and trapping licenses. Also, a lifetime freshwater fishing license or a lifetime sporting license is $65. Muzzle-loading and bow-hunting licenses are free.
