4. Cleaning products

Dollar stores are a real bargain haven for anyone looking for cheap cleaning products. The best items you can find are powdered cleaners, steel wool, and scour pads. Now, you can find almost anything for a good price, but experts advise staying away from liquid cleaners, as they may get weaker over time.

For example, Brillo Basics heavy-duty scour pads cost $2.59 at Target. Get them from Dollar Tree, and you will pay $1.25 for a pack of three. Yeah, the price you find at Target is almost double!

Even if we said that you should stay away from liquid products, you can still try to get toilet bowl cleaners because the prices you find in dollar stores are hard to beat. A 24-ounce bottle of Lysol Power liquid toilet bowl cleaner costs $2.27 at Walmart and just $1.25 at Dollar Tree. This is a huge difference, and if you can buy the cheaper alternative, go ahead.
