#1 Costco Endangered seafood

You may think this is a frivolous decision, but there is actually a lot of fish that we consume and perceive as common on the list of at-risk wildlife species. As a result, Costco decided not to sell any seafood that isn’t certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) as sustainable.

This is the reason why you may have seen some types of fish slowly disappear from their shelves, which include Atlantic cod, bluefin tuna, and Chilean sea bass, just to name a few! Instead, they make sure to source their fish only from farms and companies that are known to have passed the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification procedure.

As long as we are making sure we’re sustainable and not hurting the environment, we doubt many would mind if some types of fish disappeared from Costco!

  1. I miss the cheese bagels!!! A staff member told me they take longer to bake! (My daughter in Minneapolis still can sometimes get them.) I wasn’t going to argue but REALLY?? please bring them back to Tampa Bay FL stores 🙏🏻

  2. Studded snow tires ar eillegal in most states (except for emergency vehicle and postal vehicles), so no surprise there. Cigarette smokers are classified just below pedophiles, so no surprise there either. The rest of these ar business decisions that tell me that they really don’t want the customers that bought them. That’s why I don’t and won’t be a Costco customer.

    1. Neither does “Free Range”. They get a 5ft x 5ft patch outside the warehouse for a short period of time. And only about 80 chickens get to go outside of the warehouse where thousands of chickens have to manouver around each other. With no sunlight for most of their lives. PASTURE RAISED IS THE BESR CHOICE & TRY TO GET THEM FROM YOUR LOCAL FARM OUTLET!

  3. They usually discontinue what is not selling well or most because the price had to go too high for the customers to save money.

  4. loved the Kirkland body lotion which was discontinued years ago! Fabulous scent and awesome moisturizer, nothing they sell now compares!

  5. Used to consume many of the EVOL green chicken and cheese organic breakfast burritos. Countless ! Don’t know what has happened to them but they are sooooo salty now . Pretty sure I won’t be buying them again
