This might come as a surprise, but big chain stores, such as Walmart, usually charge a lot more than they suppose to for tech accessories. We went on a little field trip to check if this is true or not, and let us tell you that the price difference is crazy.
There aren’t a lot of situations when phone cases, for instance, are more affordable at a big-name store compared to an online retailer, like Amazon. It has plenty of options available, and many colors to choose from, and let’s not forget that the prices are incredible: less than $15 for a pretty, high-quality phone case.
While you might find that Walmart has some cute options available, if you don’t own the newest iPhone generation, you might not be lucky to find the item that will spark joy in your life. So before you make a purchase, make sure to check in multiple places, to discover what the best offer is!

I’ll have to agree on the meat and fish and some electronics. However some of the other stuff was a little bit of a surprise.
Except fur their ROASTED CHICKEN!!! It is marvelous and can be used in so many things!

How is the globalist idea killing us in your opinion. In its simplest form, we make goods and create services that we sell to other countries and they do the same. It creates markets. jobs and raises the standard of living by creating jobs. Without it, taking the nationalist view, we only sell to ourselves, which raises prices, reduces markets and leads to fewer jobs.

I’ve never been happy about Wal mart meats. The taste is so bland. The steaks are full of gristle and no taste. I fear they may be getting meats from Bill Gates who wants us all to eat his creation called, Fibre. Or it could be coming from Chi** who doest care about the health or well being if Americans at all. Walmart, Shame on you. You should be buying from local American farmers to not only help them, but also feed America better!

I absolutely detest Walmart in Canada. It has killed all the competition in our small city. Now that it has the monopoly good luck finding anything you may need. Frankly the local Dollaramas and Dollar Trees offer better pricing and more option for low priced items. Walmart is a greedy, money grabber in Canada. Now go state side and you instantly notice a vast improvement in both merchandise availability, prices and customer service.
That’s not a monopoly. A monopoly is an agency that uses the threat of force, typically government force through legislation, to prevent competition. If someone is free to compete, but fails to succeed, then that either means the primary producer or seller is already satisfying consumer demand significantly and better, or there is some other variable preventing successful competition, such as government regulations. In your example, other companies were in the market, and clearly the bulk of consumers preferred Walmart for various reasons, so the other stores lost business and failed, which is what should happen in a free marketplace.
Examples of real monopolies are typically government sanctioned like power companies, or even internet service providers, and in those cases the quality is the worst.
Shelf prices can’t be trusted. When you point out a wrong price, they argue, “Whatever it rings up is the price.” When I refused to move until the price was corrected, I was literally assaulted out of the store—yes, dragged and lifted. Of course, Walmart has so many class-action suits against it, one more incident doesn’t phase management.
With the exception of brand name lunch meat fromthe deli, I never buy meat or fish from Wal-Mart. It has no flavor, and is usually more expensive than the small Mom and Pops where the quality is generally far superior.
Whenever I see an appeal to “experts” nowadays I’m immediately suspicious and prone to doubt.

Do not buy Walmart Gift Cards either. My son bought me one for Christmas last year and when I tried to use it after Christmas, the card had already been used. Walmart would not replace it.

50.00 and 25.00 all gift cards had receipts never opened till tried to use no good used n because I was renting a room n my add was not the add of lic would not send even after I proved got my mail there.
And then wanted a utility bill in my name I rented a room not the house n my mail was at add n even proved the owners utility bill was the add there . Would not refund a dime of ny of them. Sad I’m a widow n my gift were for food to keep my cash safe to use for my needs .

Walmart has the worst meat anywhere. After 2 times buying ground beef and having to take it back because it smelled bad when I opened it and not getting my money back I will never purchase any fresh items there again and it’s just sad that I have to check the expiration date on everything else. I have also learned to read the box for anything else because 99% of items state it was rebuilt or refurbished not new.

Walmart is a great place to purchase anything from groceries to car batteries.
Their clothes are not that good of deal . Half the shirts shrink upward and most of them are made for short people 5 ft. and under . The men’s clothes or over priced and everything I’ve bought has shrunk upward and faded after the second wash and they don’t seem to have anything for tall men . They don’t have much to choose from in the shoe department either and I quit buying shoes there also because of the low quality of the shoes and the styles ( plus my husband needs a size 14 W ). If it wasn’t for my food card they gave me I wouldn’t shop at the Walmart where I live . Because 1. Half the people that work there are not helpful or not to be found. 2 .I get better deals and quality at our HEBs . 3. As far as clothes I’ll stick with JCPennys and Cato’s . 4. As for as furniture and appliances I have furniture stores I like to go to and I’d rather buy my appliances at Home Depot .
I rarely shop at Walmart, only when I need to, which fortunately, is rare. I don’t buy food there, well, rare occasions when stores close by don’t have it, which is pretty rare. Last thing I bought there was humidifier which was few years ago. Kmart which was close by, closed up, which sucked.
I hate going there. Never have medicians on hand. The meats are awful. customers are rude and pushy, drive BMWs on beer money, living 10 to a family in a 1-2-bedroom homes home. Underpaid (like Me yet) no class, with a sense of entitlement, and very foul language. Act like tweakers people. Sorry yet true.
Also check the date of expiration on cans and dry goods

I shop Walmarts a lot I have to frown on don’t buy meat really the only meat I buy is hamburger but like any store I check the sell by dates never had an issue also have bought chicken wings no problem there either if the grocery stores would not sell things at a ridiculous price probably would buy more from them

Their are Scammers that go to Walmart and get numbers off of their Gift Cards, then when these cards are paid for they use up the money on these cards. This is a very Serious Problem that Walmart needs to address. They need to Lock up their cards, etc. You are your family member need to Call their Corporate office and Demand that they Refund the money that was not on your card.
Their jewelry is crap. It cost me more to repair the piece than it cost.
since this article seems to be bias. Walmart isn’t suppose to sell high-end items. Not all Super-Centers have appliances. The pet food is name brand and store brand. Have both name brand and generic electronics. The world is not perfect.
I have shopped at Walmart for many years and there are good things to buy at Walmart, but fully agree that their meat and fish are very subpar. Here recently I’ve also run into some corporate Walmart policies that just don’t sit right with me. Now that they have a lot of us checking out our own groceries it has become ever-growingly difficult to use coupons to help defray the cost. I’ve gone in with coupons for Glucerna which clearly state that that coupon can be used for the purchase of two items what’s their automated system will now not accept. I brought this to the attention of the manager who then informed me that that was simply Walmart’s policy. I’m 74 years old with graying hair and still they must insist on seeing my ID if I want to purchase alcohol. But in this day and age like everyone I guess you have to shop around in order to find the best deals. But I will say one thing if Walmart continues with their new added rulings, I believe they will be losing many customers in the very near future.

Meats are way better than the produce in our area WalMarts. We don’t buy any fresh veggies there, but we’re okay with their markdown hamburger and so forth. Bedding isn’t bad here either as long as you get the hotel thread count items.
When Walmart first opened I expected most of the customers would be low life rednecks………and i was Right hahahaha just kidding or am I??? OK OK OK I live right down the street from one and I go there for just about everything…. So does that make me a hipocrite??? YES IT DOES!!! HAHA

We stopped buying groceries at Walmart a long time ago. The quality was not particularly good and some of the meat in the cases looked, well, old. Dates on things like bread and baked goods are really close to end-of. I get better quality and prices within pennies at Ingles and Publix supermarkets. (If that isn’t obvious, live in the Southeastern region)
I checked out appliances when we needed them and went elsewhere,
We got a washer and drier pair at Home Depot, Price was competitive but the service was absolutely the best we could have asked for. Delivered on time. Installed and TESTED quicky and without fuss. The installers made sure we knew how to use the bells and whistles beyond what’s normally available on newer machines.
We got our new TV at BEST BUY. Same comments about prices, delivery, installation and instructions on the more complicated features. At Walmart, you buy it, take it home and do all the work yourself. And there is no saving.
I do find that Walmart is reasonably competitive on small kitchen appliances. But I got a better price on my countertop convection oven at Kohl’s.
So… all around, Walmart loses

I do not shop at WalMart at all. Ever since the plandemic, there quality and availability has gotten worse.
I stopped buying meat, fish and produce before the plandemic. When my daughter-in-law told me about the cleaning crew putting the filthy kick plates on TOP OF THE MEAT, I stopped buying anything that was suppose to be fresh from there. Sam Walton would not be happy about what his store has turned into.
Went to Walmart to buy a large package of stew beef. It cooked away to nothing, absolutely nothing.
I buy some staple items at Walmart. never buy meat fish etal. Prices too high and the meats are not the best quality. I really hate having to go to Walmart at all. I live in a small town and do not have many choices for grocery shopping.
About the only things I will purchase from Wal-Mart is paper products such as paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates and disposable plastic cups. These items do offer a savings over our local grocery stores. The only food products I buy at Wal-Mart is cereal. They do offer more brand choices and sizes, (such as family size) than our local grocery dept does.
Don’t have your workers restocking during busy times . I see so many near accidents . Their stocking cart blocks the items you need so a lost of revenue there .
There are places in this country where the only option for bedding is Walmart…unless you buy online.

Could have been scanned by a scanner device like the crooks use on GP6S stations pumps. Have bought cards from Walgreen, CVS, PUBLIX, KROGERS. VERY FRUSTRATING AND EMBARRASSING TO SAY THE LEAST!

I do not buy meat from Walmart but l have never had a problem with their produce. I’ve bought my produce from Harris Teeter and have had to take some things back that went bad long before their expiration date.
I like that I can order online with free delivery (& cheaper than Amazon)I live 15 miles away from a grocery store (expensive Nob Hill) & I can get name brands at an equal or better price at Walmart: ON MY PORCH.
The people complaining about the fresh meat not being good??? I would never consider anything that wasn’t a pre packaged name brand

detergents, soaps, shampoo, foil, baggies & other brand items I use & some of
AND their garden section for indoor & outdoor plants: great selection & seemingly FRESH DAILY
I also must say, when physically going to one of the 3 Walmarts, nearest me, Salinas, Marina, Gilroy, CA, I have always had good service: showing me a shorter line, or helping me load my cart onto conveyor. And I AM happy with their fresh produce, BUT I live in Salinas Valley, a produce capital..
AND they have self-check, & it’s quicker.
Lastly, their brand “GREAT VALUE” is a decent sub for certain items..
If you’re snobby about it being “Walmart”, then it’s not for you.
I love Walmart. I buy everything there, but fresh meats. I am not poor nor cheap. I just see no reason to spend more elsewhere, because it’s the best bang for my buck. And I can get everything there: Garden Supplies, Fresh Baked Items, Even New Tires. And they range from Great Value (their brand) to more expensive name brands, so I can choose.
Their fresh baked breads are great. Nice staff in helping me find items. I love the self check option, because I’m impatient, and that line is always shorter.
I shop at the Marina, Monterey, Pacific Grove & Gilroy, CA stores. Their wine & alcohol selection & pricing, are also good.
Wal-Mart is fine if you don’t like the meat shop at Wal-Mart but by your meat some p!Ceelse. I buy meat & fruit & veggies else where.

Walmart tries to cheat customers by charging more than the shelf price sometimes. Worse, when you ask an associate to fix the price, you usually get an argument, even if you have a photo of the correct price. One day I wouldn’t budge until they got it right, and they ended up assaulting me out of the store. Haven’t shopped there since.
As a passed supplier I Strongly suggest that you do NOT shop at Wal-mart
I make my own wood furniture. Walmart furniture is pressed wood junk. Mine is solid wood and will last a long time

I will not buy dairy products from walmart. their milk is watered down, doesn’t even taste like milk and it spoils way before the expiration date.
Go to Meijer for fresh meat at their meat counter. The burger meat is great and low priced and freshly ground everyday.
One more reason why I’m retiring to a country that has FRESH meat and PRODUCE…
I stopped buying any meats from wally world in the 90s when they took out the fresh cut meats that were cut on site and replaced it with pre-packaged garbage…for quality I’ll go to sams n get much better or publix where I may pay a bit more but their fresh produce and meat is leaps n bounds ahead of wally world…

Walmart has a variety of meats available: beef, pork, shrimp, salmon, and turkey. Quality meats are available: Angus, Sirloin ground beef.
Any big retailer has people who like to shop there and people who don’t, overall I think has more good than bad. They stand behind their product’s, easy to return even you buy online. Walmart products that I don’t like, I buy from other place. Overall I thankful for Walmart.

I’m disabled and went on to Walmart late evening and the clerk told me thay have no more bags to put ur food in! He said I could purchase a plastic bag for $1.80. I was taking an Uber and had to put all my food in the backseat it was no room in her trunk! I hit my leg getting it! It should be illegal for Walmart not to respect their customers!!
I worked hot Walmart got several years ,the team I worked with was great .When I left ,and when I worked there I would not buy meat from Walmart and to this day will not .the quality is not good prices are high and the meat is very very tough.
I shop at Walmart because it is the only dept store in my town; however I do not buy fresh meat or fish. It is treated with red slime to keep it red and moist looking.
Walmart has lost their mind. They been slowly raising all their prices. I shop there and I have seen them actually changing prices to go up.
I have to agree about Walmart’s meat. Unfortunately, I’m handicapped so I have no choice but to order online. I have very little money so therefore I order from Walmart. They don’t have the best quality in meat, fish, or chicken.
However, I’ve purchased bedding from Walmart several times, and even years later I still have some of it, it’s as good as Macy’s or any other higher priced linen. Also, I get all my Grand Puppy’s food from Walmart, which is cheaper than Amazon. It’s the brand of dog food, not necessarily Walmart, that makes the difference.
