There is a high chance that the books you are looking for, be they fiction, nonfiction, or even textbooks, are going to be cheaper online than in-store.

A lot of online retailers are going to have periodic sales, and some of them are specialized in cheap books, so make sure you check online before you give in to your impulse to grab a book straight from the shelf in a bookstore! What’s more, you may also be able to find some great deals on sites like Powell’s, eBay, and ThriftBooks if you do not mind them having had a previous owner, and there are sites like eCampus where you can both buy, rent, or sell textbooks!

Yet there are some stores that are definitely going to save you some money on items that you cannot access online! One such place is Goodwill, and before you turn your nose around at the idea, know that you can get some pretty good bargains there for perfectly good items! Make sure you read about all the Goodwill items you should never pass on here!
