#7 Shop in your pantry first

Before you end up leaving for the store, make sure you have taken a good look at what you have in your pantry. And don’t forget about the freezer and fridge as well. You may think that you don’t have anything to eat in the house, but you may end up having most of the ingredients you need already, or even just a few of them.

A well-stocked pantry and fridge are your best friends when it comes to managing to save money, so before you get extra products that you already have, check for them. It’s going to take a few minutes extra, but you can end up not even having to leave for the store at all! There are sites like AllRecipes that will generate a recipe for you based on what you have on hand, so give their app a chance too!

Good Points. If possible, buy from bins for certain pantry staples, ex: panko, different legumes, rices, flours, sugars etc. If you have a wide selection, there is alway something to conger up that is unique and delicious. I swear by “better than Boullion” You can transform for frozen chicken breasts, refrigerated red peppers, fresh onions a bit of cheese into something spectacular for low cost. Bon Appetit Don’t forget the cream cheese too.
