Special Notes on Office Closures & Local Variations

There are occasional instances where certain field offices may have temporary closures for reasons such as construction, severe weather, or maintenance. While these aren’t part of the general 2026 schedule, checking the SSA Office Closings and Emergencies page online before traveling to an office is always recommended to avoid unnecessary visits.

Some communities may also host special outreach events or partner with community groups for services outside regular hours, but these are not part of the standard operating schedule and should be confirmed with your local office or through official SSA announcements.
