7 Worst Things You Can Do at Costco, According to Employees

Placing hot food in plastic bags

This last one is pretty specific. But it’s well worth knowing if you buy hot products from Costco. Employees have explained that when customers put their hot rotisserie chicken in the store’s plastic bags, it causes a real issue for the people who work there.

When you put your hot chicken in those bags, the bag begins to melt, and then it takes employees a lot of time to scrape it off the shopping carts.

Using a plastic bag won’t even help prevent the chicken juice mess because a hole will melt through the plastic, and you’ll still have a potential mess on your hands. So why not use a box instead?

We hope you enjoyed reading this article. As a final note, remember to always put your cart back after you’ve loaded your car. Think about how unhappy you’d be if you came out to discover a wayward cart had nicked the paint job on your car.

Then why do they put a plastic bag dispenser next to the rotisserie chickens????
The new chick-n-a-bag packaging makes sense.

Unfortunately this is America today lazy, disrespectable and greedy. I see it on the highway as well people drive as if the road is theirs and theirs only. I don’t know how we got here but things need to change soon. I would think that a lot of this is caught on camera, how about posting pictures on a bulletin board or showing quick video clips of these actions on a large screen. That might make it very embarrassing seeing yourself on camera.

I totally Disapprove of them checking every receipt on the way out when they can clearly see you go from the register to the door.

I’ve seen those things that your employees complain of, and think: How can people be so lazy and disrespectful. And yes, even perishables. How about the idiots who leave shopping carts diagonally in the middle of the aisle so that someone can’t pass without saying “excuse me”? LOVE COSTCO!!!
