The Best Amazon Prime Perks You Should Be Using in 2026

When to Consult a Professional

While Amazon Prime is a consumer product, its intersection with your budget can be significant.

  • Small Business Owners: If you are using a personal Prime account for business purchasing, speak to a CPA about whether an Amazon Business Prime account (with different invoicing and tax-exemption tools) is better for your compliance and deductions.
  • Budgeting Help: If you find that the convenience of “One-Click” ordering is causing you to consistently overspend or carry credit card debt, a financial coach or credit counselor can help you build friction into your buying habits to protect your wallet.

I also agree with Rita Davenport, I’m 67 yo and I only use my membership for ordering (occasionally) , photos and I watch prime video (with ads) . So how can I save money with prime?

Thank you for this information. I did not know half of it regarding my subscription. I will contact Amazon to change the monthly fee to an annual one to save the $40.00.

I only use Amazon Prime for ordering things, nothing else.
