Here’s How to Get Your Refund From Amazon’s $2.5B FTC Settlement

4. Who Must File a Claim to Get Paid

If you didn’t receive an automatic refund but think you qualify, you may be part of the claim-filing group. This typically includes customers who:

  • Signed up via a challenged enrollment flow.
  • Used between 4 and 10 prime benefits in a 12-month period.
  • Were unable to cancel Prime when trying.

These customers will be contacted by Amazon or the FTC via email or postal mail — with a claim notice that contains instructions, including a claim ID and PIN you’ll need to submit your claim. Notices are expected to be mailed or emailed by January 23, 2026.
