#7 Consider imperfect produce to save even more!

We are all looking for deals, but sometimes the deals are not going to come to you in the form of heavy discounts, coupons, or those buy one, get one free deals! The newest form of the deal involves companies selling what is dubbed “ugly” produce at a heavy discount. Places like Misfits Market and Imperfect Produce are just two of the stores that have taken this concept to the next level.

Basically, you are going to get perfectly fine produce that is not as appealing for a discount because it generally doesn’t get sold because of a less appealing appearance. This can also mean some produce may have one or two blemishes, but you will be getting good produce and saving money at the same time! As long as you are sure you can use it up before it truly goes bad, this is a great way to save some more money on groceries.

Find out more about how you can save even more when you are going grocery shopping here! You will be surprised just how much you can save with a few little changes to your routine!
