The Best Amazon Prime Perks You Should Be Using in 2026

Closing Thoughts

In 2026, Amazon Prime is less of a shipping service and more of a digital utility. The best way to use it is to be ruthless about activating the “free” perks you are already paying for. Link your Grubhub account, upload your photos to the cloud, and check your medicine cabinet for RxPass eligibility.

If you aren’t going to use the extras, be honest with yourself: is free shipping really worth $139 a year, or would you be fine grouping your orders over $35 to get free shipping without the membership fee? The choice is yours, but make sure it’s an informed one.

I also agree with Rita Davenport, I’m 67 yo and I only use my membership for ordering (occasionally) , photos and I watch prime video (with ads) . So how can I save money with prime?

Thank you for this information. I did not know half of it regarding my subscription. I will contact Amazon to change the monthly fee to an annual one to save the $40.00.

I only use Amazon Prime for ordering things, nothing else.
