Fake IRS Accounts and Help Offers

Another evolving scam involves fraudsters offering to help you set up or manage your IRS online account. Victims are asked to provide their Social Security numbers, tax documents, or login credentials to “secure” their accounts. However, these offers are often fraudulent, leading to unauthorized access or identity theft.
