1. Colorado – Bonus Payments of $750

Citizens of the state of Colorado who filed their taxes individually were given a $750 refund, while those who filed jointly got $1,500 back. People who were eligible for these stimulus checks were those who were 18 or older on December 31st, 2021, and who filed a Colorado state income tax return for that year.

In an attempt to reduce the possibility of fraud, the states only sent paper checks. If you submitted your state tax return by June 30, you should have gotten your refund by the end of the third month, which means September 30th. However, if you’ve requested an extension, you won’t get your refund until January 31st, 2023.
