#6 Stop buying prepacked items!

And we mean it! They may be convenient, but in the long run, a lot of the prepackaged items, and especially the precut varieties, are going to cost you way more than they would if you bought the produce and cut it up yourself. This also goes for the pre-made soups, which you can easily make a whole pot of with the money you spend on one, and definitely for the pre-made guacamole or other dips that you can make yourself.

Not only will you save more money like this, but you will also be eating healthier. Some already-made and prepackaged foods are made with a lot of salt and preservatives, so knowing exactly what goes into your food will be healthier in the long run!
