Flowers

When you stop to think about it, flowers are one of the most obvious items that you cannot return to Amazon. After all, you are getting them when they are close to blooming, and they will be for a special occasion, so you cannot expect them to take them back if you end up not using them, as they will probably not be able to resell them afterward. Not only that, but they are also very fragile, so even before you set your eyes on a certain flower, you should make sure it is not extremely finicky, as it could end up arriving at you in bad shape.

However, there is a silver lining when it comes to returning flowers, as there are some cases when the online retailer will accept receiving flowers back even if they generally do not. The policy states that if they arrive damaged or are already wilted when you receive them, then you will be able to return them. Even so, you should make sure that this special scenario is possible before you order the plants so that you know you are covered if anything were to happen!

Thank you for all this good information. Many people do not know there are 3rd party vendors selling on Amazon. This info is good.

I believe I purchased a desktop (approximately $780) from Amazon and after numerous online attempts to return, I believe Amazon offered me an out (return to an Amazon warehouse in CA), but withheld a hefty sum (if my memory serves me correctly) – $150 was withheld. Sometimes, it’s difficult to determine whether a seller is international or not, as well. So, I now just prefer not to order computers or laptops via Amazon, no matter how good the deal sounds. I have better return options ordering these type items from HSN.

I bought a dining room table from Amazon. It cost me $1,000.00. When it arrived it was very late. When I finally got it, it was damaged. Well wasn’t excepting a dining room table that was damaged for $1,000.00. I jumped through all the hoops to get my money back asking them to come and get the table. They told me that I was responsible to dispose of the table.
