Food

Since we mentioned expiration dates and customer safety, we cannot ignore mentioning the food and grocery category. Unfortunately, you cannot return any type of food or grocery that you have bought from Amazon, no matter if it is sent back to a warehouse or the storefront you have chosen.

When it comes to food, the sale is final, and this is not up for discussion, even if you have same-day shipping and you realize you made a mistake when you receive your order. The company will not accept those products back, and you will be left with them.

Unfortunately, these do not have a nice look around them, and you will truly have to be extremely careful when you place your food order on Amazon, or you will be left buying something you do not like. And if you cannot return something you do not enjoy, you can still make use of it instead of having to throw it out.

You can either give them to friends or family that like that type of food or donate them to your local food bank or church!

Thank you for all this good information. Many people do not know there are 3rd party vendors selling on Amazon. This info is good.

I believe I purchased a desktop (approximately $780) from Amazon and after numerous online attempts to return, I believe Amazon offered me an out (return to an Amazon warehouse in CA), but withheld a hefty sum (if my memory serves me correctly) – $150 was withheld. Sometimes, it’s difficult to determine whether a seller is international or not, as well. So, I now just prefer not to order computers or laptops via Amazon, no matter how good the deal sounds. I have better return options ordering these type items from HSN.

I bought a dining room table from Amazon. It cost me $1,000.00. When it arrived it was very late. When I finally got it, it was damaged. Well wasn’t excepting a dining room table that was damaged for $1,000.00. I jumped through all the hoops to get my money back asking them to come and get the table. They told me that I was responsible to dispose of the table.
