1. The New York State Golden Park Program

If you’re a New York State resident and you’re 62 or older, you can get free vehicle access to boat launch sites, state parks, and arboretums, as well as a discount on state-operated golf courses and state historic sites. It’s important to note that these deals are only available on certain weekdays (except holidays).

You just have to present your currently valid New York State Non-Driver Identification Card or New York State Driver License at the park entrance. There’s no need for you to make any application beforehand, as your NY State Non-Driver ID Card or Driver’s License serves as your pass. For additional information, check out the New York State Parks website.
