9 Dollar Store Items That Aren’t Worth the Buck

Cling Wrap, Food Storage Bags, And Aluminum Foil

You really ARE getting what you pay for when it comes to household staples. It might just be a buck for a box of bags but take another look. How many bags are you actually getting? And will they hold a seal like the name-brand bags you buy in your local grocery store?

And when it comes to cling wrap, it won’t be the same quality as the types you find in the supermarket. You can be sure that it’ll be tricky to get off the roll, thin, and not very “clingy” at all. Don’t even get us started on the foil! It’ll be paper-thin, and it can tear easily.

I love Dollar Tree Stores but they need to change the name because nothing is a dollar in there anymore. Their prices start at $1.25 and go up. You really need to watch which isle you are on and watch the products because people are always putting the wrong products on the wrong isle and when you get up to the register you find out the real price of some items.
You are so right about the plastic cooking utensils; they are marked Betty Crocker but they will melt if they get to hot and who know what the right temperature is for them. I learned the hard way about them melting and no need taking it back to the store, cause who keeps receipts from there and I bought these items when everything was a dollar.
Anyways I still like going in there and prawling around!

I read all of your picks on what not to buy and your so,so right. I know from experience. Thats what these stores have on their shelves and most people know that. However, its still a fun store to go through regardless. There is always a cheap thing to buy that you can’t do without. lol
