5. 1975 “No-S” Roosevelt Dime

This is one of the rarest and most valuable modern dimes ever produced. Only two examples of the 1975 “No-S” proof dime are known to exist.

Because of its extreme rarity, this coin has sold for nearly half a million dollars. It is considered a “holy grail” among coin collectors and demonstrates just how valuable a simple minting error can become.

6. 1982 and 1983 Roosevelt Dimes (No Mint Mark)

In the early 1980s, some dimes from the Philadelphia Mint were accidentally struck without the “P” mint mark. These coins are not extremely rare, but they are still collectible and can sell for $50 to $175 depending on their condition.

The 1983 dimes are particularly interesting because fewer uncirculated examples were saved, making high-quality coins harder to find today.
