Pennsylvania

Who’s Eligible: To qualify for a stimulus check under Pennsylvania’s “Property Tax/Rent Rebate” program, you must be 65 or older. Widowed residents age 50 or older and those with disabilities that are at least 18 years old are also eligible for the program. There’s also an annual income: $15,000 for renters and $35,000 for homeowners.

Amount: For qualified homeowners, the rebate amounts range between $250 and $650. For renters, the standard rebate amount is either $500 or $650. However, certain retirees can receive a rebate of up to $975. Note that if you were sent a property tax rebate in 2021, your new rebate is worth 70% of that amount.

When Sent: Pennsylvania started sending rebate payments in August 2022. The deadline to apply for a rebate was the end of 2022, so payments will continue into 2023.
