Walmart Won’t Bring These 11 Products Anymore

Zantac

Walmart was one of the many retailers, such as CVS Health, Walgreens, and Rite Aid, that decided to pull the heartburn drug Zantac (and anything else that might include its active ingredient, ranitidine), after it has been discovered that the drugs had dangerous contaminants in their ingredients.

They found low levels of a rather probable cancer-causing chemical, so many prescription blood pressure medications were pulled off the market last year.

Inappropriate teen underwear

Back in the 2007 holiday season, Walmart took an interesting turn in terms of underwear for teenagers. They sold hot-pink bikinis that were emblazoned with “who needs credit cards” on the front, and “when you have Santa” on the back. Well, as you can imagine, thousands of outraged parents started a huge rant for obvious reasons, and the panties were soon stripped from the shelves.

    1. Somehow they consider the concept of a woman president to be against “family values”. How is that keeping us safe and healthy?

      1. I wish we could see less production of China
Products at Walmart I will not buy anything
        With China on it .

Not funny. Not all classical china dishes are manufactured in the country of China. Just like not all idiots come from the United States but we have our numbers.

It’s just a ‘term’ for fancy dinner plates. The term “china” comes from its country of origin, and the word “porcelain” comes from the Latin word “porcella,” meaning seashell. It implies a product which is smooth, white, and lustrous. The term “porcelain” is preferred in Europe while “china” is favored in the United States. Ironically, Noritake ‘china’ is made in Japan.

          5. Ebay.i have beautiful Old Country Roses English fine china. After my husband surprised me with basic service for 8, i started buying one piece a month..besides more basic plates, i have 3 platters in 3_sizes, Serving bowls,,ceramic oven proof casserole dishes, tea, pots, a,coffee server, cake plates, pasta serving bowl and pasta plates, covered vegetable bowls, egg cups sand with long plates , salt, pepper and, sugar bowls, clear salad, serving bowl,,with matching individual bowls, and a big soup tureen. And more.
I started collecting around 1984. Everything in great shape, too.And bought a piece at,a,time, it was, easy on the budget. And not from China.

        1. For a good while now, sometimes they will not list “China” but put imported – so be watchful. I haven’t been buying anything China for probably around 15 yrs. Why should we when we can support our own great USA

        2. The Chinese now own Walmart, I have been told. Sam Walton’s’ family sold it a few years ago. So naturally there will be more and more items of Chinese origin.

the only things they sold in the store not from china was guns and ammo and now the dumb azzes dont even sell those, they threw a huge part of their business out the window to appease a few woke halfwits who think walmart is the only place mental cases can buy a gun when in reality most of the time they steal them and go unpunished or lightly punished and do it again and again and again

If you think you are somehow avoiding China as the manufacturing source of any product, then you must have eliminated all electronic devices. While the device you purchase may itself not be assembled in China, it is nearly impossible for the at least some, and often times most of the components to not be of Chinese origin.

I try not to but they seem to make EVERYTHING we buy! When I noted a god rainproof windbreaker, I searched online and found one made in a state in the east. Expensive, but the Quality is EXCELLENT, s opposed to the junky one I got from Amazon, made in China.

        16. Clinton and Harris are not appropriate candidates for president. People are not against having a woman president.

        17. I renamed it China Mart in the late seventies as my Pant produced their priavte label diapers; then they moved their personal care products supply chain to Mexico and China!

        18. Agreed!!! They are good at masking their products however, even on Amazon and Facebook. You have to be very savy at researching products n ow a days.

        19. if everything we buy from China was made in the US guess what, we would need 5 times the income to buy it. WONDER WHY IT’S MADE IN CHINA!

        20. a wheel bearing made for my car in USA was quoted $145. one made in China cost $44. which one do you think I bought? I bought the China one and it out lasted the original USA one.

That woman running for president was responsible for keeping our border secure for the last 3.5 years. Five million illegals were able to penetrate that border. “That woman” still claimed it was secure. Is this woman incompetent or was she knowingly lying to the American people? Your answer will determine your level of education from the Liberal school union.
      4. It’s not about being a woman. A woman president would be great. The point is the woman’s qualifications, her policies, her good record, her love of country. We should never simply because of gender or skin color. We’re all Americans. But just as with any job the person who gets picked for the job must have the ability and qualifications in order to do the job properly.

      5. This presidential race had nothing to do with being a woman… Harris is not very smart to begin with, she lied & is still lying. She doesn’t have the integrity, intelligence or the slightest idea about what being the leader of the free world means & has only tried to destroy & divide what America & the people who represent it & actually LOVE our country. Camel Toe Harris has none of the qualification’s to run OUR country. Land of the Free & Home of the Brave. She is nothing but a selfish, wicked & vile person who only seems to seek Chaos & destruction. How dare this horrible woman!!!!

      6. IT is not a woman that we don’t want. IT is a socialist of either sex, that we don’t want. socialism usually ends in mass murder, Amerika will be no different.

      7. About the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the military leadership, the ability to appoint a cabinet, restore pride in America and the respect of the world? How about not having FAKE pandemics, business lock downs, JAB mandates, a border not overrun with illegal/unvetted welfare drains, an national debt of never repayable, nosebleed proportions, weaponized DOJ, corrupt as hell president who was not duly elected, etc., etc., etc.?

    1. I’m very sorry the White Stag brand was dropped. I liked their jeans and pants so much better than the newer options. For one thing, I think White Stag sizing was more accurate. When I purchased a pair of pants marked “petite” or “short”, I didn’t have 8-12 inches of fabric leg dragging on the floor when I pulled them up. Please bring this product line back, Walmart!

    2. I agree . I loved the White Stag brand. Their clothes actually fit!!!! I don’t buy my clothes at Walmart anymore. Everything is ugly and doesn’t fit me right.

Oddly, I remember “White Stag” as the first men’s cologne that I used back in the early 1970s. If I recall correctly it was exclusively marketed at Sears back when they were trying to look more “upscale” like Carson’s or Marshall Fields was then.

    8. I agree That clothing line was the best . Could always find a good selection . What they have now is not for women. It’s more for. Teens or young adults .

    9. They have forgotten all of Sam’s beliefs which is sad. They forget if it wasn’t for the customers they would not have a job. Their customers are smart enough tovthink fir themselves. If there is something they have on the shelves that you do not want just walk on by. The customers deserve to be treated with respect . Our store here doesnot take csrevof the customers they tell us they are not allowed to sny longer. Sam is rolling in his grave I am sure. In stead of taking things that sell off the shelf why not leave them . I have friends that say WalMart should stsrt listening to their customers instead of doing an injustice to the Store The Great Sam Walton started. Always remember if we all stop shopping WalMsrt you will go broke!

    2. Could have the bioengineering ingredient, like so many other food products. This is in too many of our foods and it’s deadly, if you consume too much of it, it’s poisoning that Bill Gates invented to kill so many of our population. He wants to be the lone survivor. He’s a monster that needs to be stopped.

  1. But they sell garbage lawnmowers and when they break down they tell you to contact the manufacturer. The problem with that is the manufacturer doesn’t answer the phone or they tell you to contact them by email that they don’t answer either. DO NOT BUY A POWERSMART LAWNMOWER FROM THEM. They are junk and they don’t stand behind their products

    1. Have you let Walmart know all this? Walmart should discontinue 3rd party lawnmowers. Was it under warranty or could it be taken to any repair place for repair instead?

I never buy a Brand X for a yard or home appliance. You get what you pay for. When I wanted a small Boom Box-type radio/CD player they had two at Walmart: OHM or Sony. The OHM was half the price of Sony so I bought it. A month after I used it, the radio, both FM and FM, stopped working. Garbage brand. Now Walmart didn’t even carry any brand of these. I can find plenty of them at Bi Mart.
  2. Walmart is Anti-women. OK. As a woman, I am anti-Walmart. Why is a woman president against family values? Because, according to Walmart, women are chatel.

    1. Strange…. Probably 75 % are female employees. They are not anti women atall. I wonder where you get your info

    2. the whole demon-rat party is anti woman. They don’t like minorities either. They only love themselves. Why they are called “perverts”. IF you can’t escape their wrath, put them down (if threatened) (legal in RED states only).

    3. because the Bible says a woman is never to be in authority over a man. The man is to be the head of the home/family also. Having a woman in charge is known to break down the family unit. When a woman usurps authority, the man will leave, thus breaking down the family unit. Men think rationally while women think emotionally. Furthermore, other country will not respect a woman president those endangering the family.

  3. It has long been a trend with Walmart since Sam Died that any off brand that outsells a Name brand is discontinued in favor of the higher priced name brand. It is how they operate in order to sell the name brand. They also create their own Shortages of certain items like Cat Food, Walmart’s brand Special Kitty will be out for weeks until the expensive brands are nearly sold out.

    1. Lin says:
Your comment is awaiting moderation. This is a preview; your comment will be visible after it has been approved.
There is a new book out written by a Dr..Karen Becker called THE FOREVER DOG which also applies to cats regarding the 4 x processed dead food we feed our dogs and cats. Walmart may even sell it, but I got it from Amazon. It is worth reading.
    2. Great Value is always available all year round and it is doing well, and Walmart supports this brand, a lot as it is profitable, at least in my area.
The cat food is an issue that is not Walmart’s fault, and their brand is always available in my store.

    3. I refuse to buy name brands, if I can’t get the GREAT Value brand, I will not buy it. I can’t afford to pay more for name brands when I save (usually .50 to $ 1.50) on GREAT Value brands!! I absolutely refuse to pay that much more for the same item, same size or quanitity, that taste as good or better. They change the products around every week or two and I don’t want to spend an hour or two trying to find what I need. I have been so aggravated with trying to find something, I was tempted to push my cart to the side and leave. Their definitely not doing what Mr. Sam did!

  4. Why does so many people think or feel like Walmart looking out for them ? You got them to drop these items by complaint or not buying !!,
Did you not read the story, everything FAILED to do as expected( not buying) or to many complaints/ down falls.
Walmart looking out for thier bottom line. They will sell what ever sells !!

    1. You are SOOO right. And they will force “well respected” manufacturers to give them a lower wholesale price so they can guarantee they are the lowest priced retailer. If the manufacturer can’t cut his wholesale price specially for them, then they push for a “slightly cheaper constructed version” or to “leave a few features that won’t be immediately noticed” out of the Walmart model. A couple decades back they tried this go with the STIHL company. Stihl refused to alter any models, as they considered that to be less than there quality standards. Told Walmart if they wanted to sell cheaper than anyone else they would simply have to operate on a thinner margin. When Stihl’s family owners talked about this and additional “hardball” tactics in the press, Walmart sent about a dozen lawyers with copies of bout a dozen ways they would be sued. Stihl pointed out that all conversations with Walmart were recorded, and most were also videoed. The suits quickly evaporated before news of Walmart’s further “bad faith” market tactics could leak out. And contrary to what the Walmart rep’s had said (if you don’t sell through us we’ll put your out of business) Stihl appears to be one of the few American manufacturers still chugging along just fine.

    1. I agree with Joe…no discounts to vets or seniors, many products come from China…I find other stores are less expensive now. WalMart has to keep profit high to pay their employees more and support their education. WalMart has changed for the worse in a very big way.

Everything from every store is offering crap from China we have become a buy cheap country. Try to buy” look for the union label “and you’re going to pay through the nose. Very little manufacturing done here anymore because of its high labor costs. Simple economics.

ME TOO! EVery thing but food is from China in Walmart. It is anti-American.
    3. They sell stuff made in the USA and other countries as well. Not all is China. Educate yourself about them and go see for yourself.

  6. I would like to know why I must click multiple times (SO MANY TIMES) to see the answers to any of these posts? I suspect it’s all about your organization getting paid for EVERY click the public makes on your site… That has to be the case, otherwise we would simply be able to scroll down a single page to read everything! Ever heard of “Scroll”? How about stopping with the click bait income! I’m NOT going to click eleven times to see eleven products! Put the info on ONE PAGE!

  7. I have quit walmart all together. If I can get it ANYWHERE else. I will pay a little more to keep from buying at Walmart. I started having problems with them when they were cutting the fabric dept. They had a corner on the market by putting others out of business. After that they were going to do away with it themselves. Just the first. They were saving money by putting in all those self checkouts. Lots of jobs were lost.
    I DON’T DO WALMART.

  8. I did not understand the last paragraph that said “you SHOULDN’T buy from Walmart Great Value products, organic products, luxury perfume etc. Why? I believe it was supposed to say some things you SHOULD buy from Walmart…!

  9. I would love to see a woman president. It has nothing to do with family value.!
And maybe we’d have less idiots running the country!

  10. Why are cashiers told not to double bag? I am tired of chasing my groceries down the street and cleaning up broken glass bottles due to a single cheap paper bag.

  11. The Great Value label has been around for years. This private label as well as Equate has many products of major brands just with a label change.. Canned Veggies, milk and dairy products are the same product with just a label change, all arriving from the same manufacturer or distributor.. you must check out what you are buying…

  12. The Walmart in Modesto California on McHenry avenue some of the male employees won’t help certain customers unless they have big boobs they simply pass up the disabled customers and claim they are off the clock but then turn around and help a customer with big boobs some of the products are not there and the questionable candy video on YouTube where the lady went into a Walmart and purchased a bag of chocolate candy and when she got home opened the candy and worms came out she even did this to show to the camera idk maybe i should just go to target instead

  14. I don’t need Walmart to decide what I buy. Removal of firearms and ammo just to bow down to what to anti gun agenda is ridiculous. How about just abiding by the law. Walmart shootings didn’t result because someone came in to purchase something and then loaded it and began shooting.

  15. They haven’t sold handgun or AR15 ammo for several years now. They quit selling AR 15 rifles a couple of years before that. I have NEVER seen a handgun for sale in any Walmart. I did see where they gave BLM $100 million during the riots in 2020. Since they are going woke I hope they go broke. Sam Walton is spinning in his grave.

  16. I resisted buying groceries at walmart! but now they do save me money for sure.I used smaller stores and local but prices in these store have sky rocketed. No money to support them regularly anymore.

Yes you can’t help but want to save money.
    2. Grocery prices at Walmart are ‘decent’ at best. If you have access to supermarkets that have a membership program, especially one with online coupons (like Kroger), you’ll do better and have access to better quality products in many cases. I also like shopping at (both) Aldi and Lidl, and if you have either of them nearby, suggest you check those out. Their store brands are as good as or better than Walmart’s. HOWEVER, not all of WM’s Great Value products are bad, and the good ones (you’ll have to decide for yourself) will save you money.

  17. I don’t like the Terra Sky clothes u have .could go back to old brands u use to carry.I just cant shop for clothes at your stores.

  18. WE shop at Walmart at least 2 times a week. Love the store. Prices have gone up a lot, not a good thing. Usually find everything I need.
People that work there are very nice and helpful.

  19. Walmart should ask the customers what they would like brought back to the store the woman’s clothes is a bunch of cheap old looking 👀 clothes nothing for the older women most of it is for the younger girls/women – Fancy Feast Cat Food is mostly empty and since the remodel you spend extra time walking around the store and still can’t find it what you were looking 👀 for and the aisles are always cramped with stickers trying to stock the shelves during the day china makes items cheaper that’s why Walmart uses china product don’t purchase to much from Walmart we shop at Reasor’s better products and much better selection

Most often their Great Value brand is a more expensive brand but with their label on it. Don’t buy your fresh meat at Walmart, because it’s all cut in big warehouses and shipped to the stores. Get your staples like socks and underwear. Walmart employs more people than anyone else in the United States for a reason, if they return to their core values, they’ll be fine.

WHO CARES,,,Why Can’t walmart INFO be easier to FIND??
  26. Walmart tends to out source shipments and they need to understand if things coming from other companies don’t follow through they get criticized for their actions. I have an order supposedly coming from Canada and i only received part of it. I had to purchase some crazy door item in order to receive my medicated Protein Drink. Accept the Protein Drink never showed up. Not everyone uses the Protein drinks for bulking up. Some of us use it for daily intake as ordered by doctors. But it is not covered by insurance. Plus a lot of stores don’t understand when you have to do this daily you don’t want just chocolate and cookie flavored Shakes. Not everyone can switch to other brands because you body doesn’t tolerate all the variety of companies that make protein shakes and some don’t make 30 grams of Protein drinks. It’s like being a diabetic if you need it for medication we need to have access to it whether covered by insurance or not.

I’ll be happy when they stop selling products from China, and instead sell American made products. China is our enemy. Why buy an enemy product and make them rich. The money is being used to build up their military. They are harassing the Philippines and other allies in the South China seas. Foks need to think about that right now. China is not a friendly nation.

Maybe it would be good to explain why “things that you SHOULDN’T buy from Walmart, some of which are Great Value brand food”. I’ve found a lot of this food to be as good as nation brands at much less cost. Why should I not buy it?

Please explain the items we SHOULDN’T BUY! You gave no reason.

Why not buy Great Value food products? Are the luxury brand perfumes fake?
  35. Yes, if the merchandise is not working in the majority of Walmart stores, you should move on and choose other items that are of interest to all of your Walmarts. When I shop inside Walmart everyone seems very nice, professional, customer friendly employees. I must say they have a excellent delivery service too. My items are always on time, and left where I requested them to be placed. The items are in great condition. I love to shop at this store, Walmart Hwy. 42, Clayton, NC.

  36. Why would you say do not buy Great Value brand? This brand saves us money and taste better than name brands. So far only two Great Value products aren’t as good. The box dinners they compare to Hamburger Helper and The stew compared to Dinty Moore.
Charlotte from The Money place, please answer, we really want to know.

  37. You are pushing politics in this e-Mail. I don’t buy toilet paper to get my political information and you should stick to retail! I hate seeing you advocate for either side. Stick to toilet paper. You have plenty of money. Keep your nose out of political preferences. This was the WRONG message!

  38. I always when The big W stocked items that I buy I found Walmart to be hit or miss. Sometimes you’ll see the item you want to purchase there and then you won’t see the item for weeks, but as someone said, they’re probably trying to sell out the namebrand items.

  39. Well Kamela Harris will be the next President of the United States and I do like Margeret so you should’ve kept selling the shirts.

  40. This made me laugh but no way in heck I will stop using Great Value brand. They are great and helps to stretch my dollars.

  41. Did the shirts mention Shirley Chisolm as a presidential candidate? If you go that route again, don’t forget the first black woman who ran for president! A t-shirt with all the women wo ran for president would be nice!

  42. Do not ever believe the “in stock” because a lot of times they are for products they NEVER carried. I used to check online, but when I went to the store found that it was not there, no tags on the counters, not sold out, but something they didn’t ever sell. They just will say in stock to ANYthing you ask about. So 19 times out of 20, I leave Wal-Mart empty handed.

  43. Mr. Sam Walton is probably turning over in his grave. Mr. Walton made it a point to only buy and stock American made products. It was not until Sam Walton passed away that is family that gained control of the Corporation of Walmart started the procurement of Chinese Products, and also bending to the will of the Left in our beloved America. Walmart is also employing illegal aliens who the Dems had gotten green cards for them to work in the stores. These illegals cannot speak a word of English, while our own people are starving and sleeping in tents including our American Veterans. I personally try not to buy anything from Walmart unless I absolutely needed to.

  44. Why bother selling anything in your so-called fishing department if you don’t sell fishing licenses! I will go to a real sporting goods store.

  45. Walmart is in the business of making money–period. Lately, I’ve experienced what was available one week at a decent price, has been replaced by a “name brand” at a higher price. Some Walmart items are being replaced at a higher price, and reduced size and quality. Unfortunately, as a Senior Citizen my choices of where to shop at the best deals are getting fewer.

  46. I have always had good experiences with Walmart. Therefore, I have no complaints. I like there low prices. I just thought of one thing I would love to see. Okee Dokey Cheese popcorn is the best. I would love to see them in stock more often!

  47. Home grocery delivery has become so disgusting. I’ve been having to call customer service after each delivery. Outdated food, green ribeye steaks (outdated) stollen meats, groceries left at door so door would not open, don’t knock when delivery made, feral cats eating my groceries before I can get around the house to get them, etc. Having just one missing ingredient puts dinner off. Pizzed me off.

  48. The last few years they haven’t had vita herring in cream sauce. I have to go to publix to get it. But they do have the herring in wine sauce.

  49. Can you give your reason for taking non frosted blueberry Pop Tarts off the shelves but have 10+ frosted flavors.

  50. I was very disappointed to find Walmart no longer carries their brand of Healthy Cream of Mushroom soup. I can’t find the lightly salted potato chips in their brand any more since last Fall. Being somewhat health conscious, I am shopping there less.

  51. Article seems familiar, I’m glad they’re not going to carry the first 4 things, anymore, But I thought, they had already stopped carrying them,

  52. I went to Walmart 4 months ago to get a laptop and they didn’t have what I was told, and the one they did have and try to get me to buy was almost twice as much as the one I was told they had. I didn’t get anything ,I went to Target and got the one that Walmart said they had and didn’t . I got it for less. Saved $80.

  53. Walmart stories are a must for lots of low income folks, They can sell cheaper because of Quantity, if you don’t like buying stuff made in China, then don’t, they have lots of other stuff for sale that’s not made in China. I Even find stuff in Mom and Pop stores made in China

  54. I purchased the hearing aids advertised through Walmart. They did not fit. I tried every way and nothing I did helped so I wrote to them. I’ve called them. My husband’s emailed them. He’s called them. We ask for a refund like they said they would give us and now it’s been weeks and we still have not gotten any word from them. I am still waiting for my refund had they said had we bought them through Amazon? The company could’ve helped us but because we bought them through Walmart they can’t help us. Don’t buy these hearing aids.

  55. Time for WalMart to quit selling merchandise tied into cable TV programmes. Our nearby store can’t move any Pioneer Woman or Joana Gaines Home Edit items until they get down to $1 on the clearance aisles. Nobody watches cable anymore and no one cares who these folks are so the items just take space on the shelves at their exorbitant pricing while more sensible products could be featured. Same goes with some of the kiddie crap. Exceptions could be made on items related to free over the air broadcast shows like Drew Barrymore or streaming services that have made their content available for free with online platforms like the BBC as these methods are seeing increase audiences.

  56. Not only do they not give discounts to Seniors and they charge you for groceries that were cancelled and claim that they don’t have record of the amount taken, in my case, it was over $200.00 Dollars of my EBT Cash app and will not refund it. Almost almost All I have for the months groceries. I’m 82 years old and disabled. They didn’t care if I had proof, their records did not show the transaction?? The Rich get Richer at anyone’s expense.

  57. Bravo Walmart. It’s great to know that some business will listen to their conscience instead of their cash register.
