Harris-Teeter

You’re probably well acquainted with this grocery store if you live in the south. There ARE some people who love Harris-Teeter.

But even if you have one of these supermarkets in your hometown, you may want to do your grocery shopping somewhere else to avoid the chain’s increased prices.

Harris Teeter, which Kroger now owns, can be closely compared to Publix, which means that it’s not even trying to offer its customers low prices like some other chains have been known to do.

One good thing we should mention is that the chain HAS cut SOME costs on organic and perishable items to attract more customers who would otherwise shop at Fresh Market and Whole Foods.
