Funnily enough, I discovered that some millionaires are also very frugal in their spending, which makes me think that’s how they became rich in the first place, but maybe that’s just me and my wishful thinking. A well-known subsidiary of Amazon, this place is filled with great deals on all the major organic foods you could think of. And when I say they have everything, I mean fresh fruits, whole grains, fish, eggs, nuts, and even beans.

Their foods are oftentimes minimally processed, which is pretty much what wealthy people are looking for. I think it has everything to do with having a secure financial situation; you are finally able to be more mindful of what gets into your body. Otherwise, organic foods are quite expensive, and I think that’s one of the reasons why wealthy people can afford them in the first place.

Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s is another great store that’s frequented by wealthier people. They sell a wide variety of food items, such as cookies, cheese, and beverages. They also offer an exclusive shopping experience to anyone who wants to shop there.

Fresh Market

Fresh Market is another great place where many wealthy people love to shop. They offer fresh deals such as vegan burgers, fruits, seafood, and any other kind of vegetable you could possibly think of. They also sell ready-to-eat and prepackaged foods.

They are much cheaper compared to other shopping stores that millionaires prefer. This grocery store is generally loved by all Americans due to its well-curated diversity and good prices (moderate, let’s say).

Some of the best things you can get from there are flowers, Mary’s Crackers, vegan products, fresh sushi, Califia Farms Cold Brew, Seasonal Dipped Pretzels, Crispie Cookies, and, my absolute favorite, Pumpkin Butter.

Where do rich people shop for clothes?

Wealthy people would rather live a quiet life than go for a stealthy wealth brand like Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana, or Canali. However, it’s worth noting that some millionaires aren’t frugal at all (like Cardi B), so they prefer to wear branded clothes. Some of the most important clothing stores designed for wealthy people are:

Chanel

Chanel is a well-known luxury store that sells fashion and apparel for women. They also sell a wide variety of products, such as makeup, handbags and bags, fragrances, shoes, beauty products, and accessories like earrings and necklaces.

Generally, rich people can make their payments using PayPal, a credit card, Klarna Invoice, or even Sofort Banking in some countries.

Target is a luxury store that focuses on women’s clothing. Besides fashion and apparel, they also deal with furnishing and décor. The chances of you finding baby stuff, beauty and personal care products, electronics, accessories, and even toys are high. It seems that even wealthy people love the occasional shopping trip to Target.

Honestly, one of my biggest curiosities was whether billionaires actually shop for things themselves or just hire a couple of teams to take care of that, too. Well, it seems that those who still like to “push the button” themselves love online shopping in these places:

Walmart

Walmart is one of the best places for online shopping, especially for rich people. It’s an online store that basically sells a wide variety of products, including clothing, electronics, furniture, and even home decor. Oh, and don’t forget about kitchen appliances!

Zara Home

Zara Home is another great place where rich people shop for their home decor and appliances. Moreover, they also have amazing clothing for children and men. Zara Home is under the umbrella of the Spanish Inditex Group, a well-known company that manufactures home textile products. Founded in 2013, it is currently headquartered in Corua, Spain, but it has more than 408 stores in 44 countries.

Amazon

Amazon is an e-commerce store where plenty of rich people shop online. They sell a wide range of products, from home decor to electronics, books, and even appliances. Amazon is mostly preferred by millionaires, and for all the good reasons: they are the fastest, with the best and most convenient home delivery services.

Quintessentially is a website where billionaires love to shop online. The platform was one of the first to initiate the concept of lifestyle management. In order to achieve that, they organized a marketplace where rich people could easily shop for luxuries. They also offer lifestyle services such as travel agencies, restaurants, real estate, art, weddings, and nightlife.

Most wealthy people have all the means in the world for a private shopping experience. That’s the charm of being rich, right? Well, these are the stores that provide just that:

Bergdorf Goodman is a well-known store that offers one of the most luxurious private shopping experiences in New York. They have almost anything in the luxurious clothing department, both for women and men. They have plenty of stylists who carefully help customers navigate through their personalized collections.

Soho House is a well-known private members’ club. In order to become a member, you have to make an application and pay a fee. Your application can be accepted or declined. They also have a membership committee composed of all their club members. They are the ones who vote on new members and decide who can’t join the club. These clubs are available in Europe, North America, and Asia.
