When Will Refunds Be Sent?

Automatic payments began on November 12 and will continue through December 24.

Key details:

  • Refunds are issued via PayPal or Venmo
  • Payments must be accepted within 15 days
  • If not accepted, Amazon will mail a paper check to the last known address

Those waiting for claim forms should expect them between December 24 and January 23.

Final Thoughts

Whether you accidentally signed up for Amazon Prime or struggled through a confusing cancellation process, you may be entitled to part of the $1.5 billion refund fund. The FTC settlement sends a clear message that subscriptions must be easy to cancel and free of deceptive tactics.

With refund distribution already underway, eligible consumers should monitor communications closely and ensure they don’t miss acceptance deadlines.
