For instance, a bottle of French yellow mustard weighing 8 ounces costs $1.25 at Dollar Tree, while Kroger charges $1.39 for it. At Dollar Tree, a 20-ounce bottle of Hunt’s tomato ketchup costs $1.25, while at Kroger it is no less than $1.69. The difference might not be big, but these cents can easily add up and turn into big costs over time!

A 48-piece set of plastic disposable dinnerware from Dollar Tree costs $1.25, and it includes knives, forks, and spoons. If you go to another store, a similar set like this will cost you a few dollars extra. Walmart, for instance, offers a 48-count set of Great Value assorted plastic dinnerware for $3.24.

Greeting cards are a must have at the Dollar Tree as are summer kids water toys, such as pool noodles and water pistols. Also they carry a huge array of small kitchen gadgets. And a great place for sticking stuffers or just minute cheap gifts for kids
