7 Worst Things You Can Do at Costco, According to Employees

Ripping Off The Saran Wrap

This might sound obvious, but you shouldn’t try to rip off any plastic wrap in the store! You don’t have to rip the saran to try and get that one box of whatever you need. It’s already on the store floor. Instead, employees urge customers to find an employee to help.

They’ll be happy to assist by directing you to where your product is in the store. Even if you’re almost certain the product you want is unavailable, check with staff members to be sure. An employee revealed that Costco would not put it up in the steel if it’s not on the floor.

What makes matters worse is that if you were to rip the saran and try to grab whatever you needed, it could cause a domino effect. You don’t know what else is on that pallet. And you’d obviously be upset if something were to hit you.

Then why do they put a plastic bag dispenser next to the rotisserie chickens????
The new chick-n-a-bag packaging makes sense.

Unfortunately this is America today lazy, disrespectable and greedy. I see it on the highway as well people drive as if the road is theirs and theirs only. I don’t know how we got here but things need to change soon. I would think that a lot of this is caught on camera, how about posting pictures on a bulletin board or showing quick video clips of these actions on a large screen. That might make it very embarrassing seeing yourself on camera.

I totally Disapprove of them checking every receipt on the way out when they can clearly see you go from the register to the door.

I’ve seen those things that your employees complain of, and think: How can people be so lazy and disrespectful. And yes, even perishables. How about the idiots who leave shopping carts diagonally in the middle of the aisle so that someone can’t pass without saying “excuse me”? LOVE COSTCO!!!
