Most 1999 dimes are common, but certain error versions have attracted attention from collectors. One example in excellent condition sold for over $14,000, although average examples are worth much less.

As with many coins on this list, condition and rarity play a major role in determining value.

Even relatively recent coins can have collectible value. The 2020-D dime has a lower mintage compared to some other years, which has led to increased interest among collectors.

While most examples are only worth a small premium, coins in exceptional condition have sold for over $300. This shows that even modern coins can become valuable under the right circumstances.
